Welcome to Aurora Online Family Mediation Service
We offer Online Family Mediation Services in family matters.
Give us a call on 01462 429735 or 07551 909509 to find out more about how we can help you resolve arrangements for children or financial arrangements on separation. We can send you a free information pack. You can also email us on email@example.com
Online mediation when you are divorcing or separating is a confidential and neutral way to have a positive discussion with your former partner to work out a way of organising arrangements for children or finances when you separate. Mediation is a far cheaper alternative to court. Whether you are married or unmarried, parents, cohabitees or former cohabitees, we can help you work out a way forward. We are FMC accredited mediators.
Wherever you and your former partner are based in the country, we can arrange online family mediation.
Give us a call and we can arrange to send you an information pack, or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org. We have an admin team who as well as our mediators can answer any questions you have and then you can book in for your initial meeting (also known as a MIAMs) which would be held separately to start with. We can carry out your virtual online initial meeting for mediation on Zoom, Teams or WhatsApp. All you need is somewhere to sit on your own for the meeting and a good wifi connection.
In an initial meeting (MIAMs) we answer any questions you may have about the process and hear from you what your hopes are for mediation. We discuss with you how mediation works and what to expect of the process. We look at how we can tailor things for you as well as give you information about processes other than mediation. We charge £90 per person for an initial meeting online including VAT.
After a confidential initial meeting if you would both like to proceed, we can arrange a full online family mediation session. The meetings normally last about an hour and a half but you can stop at any time as mediation is always voluntary. You would see each other on a screen for a full online mediation unless we all agree otherwise. There would be on average 2 to 3 sessions for an online children mediation and 3 to 5 sessions for an online financial mediation. The process for Mediation online is very similar to mediation face to face. We will do our best to answer any questions or concerns you may have in your confidential initial meeting (MIAMs) but if you have any questions after the initial meeting and before you begin your full mediation please give us a call and we would be happy to help.
Family mediation is not the same as family therapy and although we have a legal background we cannot advise as we are neutral. We can give information, where appropriate but it is important that you check out any arrangement reached with a family law solicitor. A family law solicitor can also make your proposals from mediation (memorandum of understanding or “MOU”) binding if you would like them to.
Our mediators Nicolette Zarka, Joy Burden and Rob Baber are all FMC Mediators.
If you have any more questions about the family mediation process please call us on 01462 429735 or email on email@example.com
